Eligibility Conditions For MBA (ABM) Programme
Candidates seeking admission to MBA (ABM) programme in the University shall possess Bachelors degree of Four years or above. (B.Sc degree in Agriculture/ Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation/ Horticulture/ Sericulture/ Forestry / Agricultural Biotechnology / B.Tech. (Food Science & Tech.) / (Food Technology) / B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) / B.Tech.(Biotechnology)/ B.Sc(Home Sceicne) / Community Science / Veterinary & Animal Sciences from Farm Universities / Deemed University/ Institutions recognized by ICAR, New Delhi / SAU’s with a minimum CGPA of 2.25 / 4.00 or OGPA of 6.50 /10.00. In the case of SC/ST/Cat-I, the minimum CGPA required is 2.00/ 4.00 or OGPA of 6.00 /10.00.

The candidates who have studied under Trimester system, seeking admission to MBA (ABM) programme are required to compulsorily submit the certificate of equivalent percentage for Bachelor's degree obtained from their respective University/Institution.
Eligible candidates are required to appear for Written entrance examination for 100 marks, which includes to the extent of 60% Knowledge on Agricultural Technology (KAT) & 40% knowledge of Management Aptitude Test (MAT) and secure a minimum of 40% ( 35 per cent in the case of SC/ST and Cat-I) to qualify for Group Discussion & Interview.
Candidate should have studied for a minimum period of seven academic years in any educational institution in Karnataka State at any time up to Bachelor’s degree as on June 2019.
Mode of admission
All the eligible candidates will have to appear for the Entrance Examination on the scheduled date. The I.D. card (Candidate copy) attached along with the application shall be produced on the day of examination to issue the seat number and to write the Entrance Examination. Merit will be determined by assigning 60% weightage to academic performance, 40% to written entrance examination, group discussion & Interview. The candidates should secure a minimum of 50% (35 per cent in the case of SC/ST & Cat-I) to become eligible for admission.

The applicant / Candidates should go through the information bulletin carefully before filling the application. Before submitting the application care must be taken for payment of the application fee (Rs.1700/- GM / OBC and Rs. 850/- SC/ST/Cat-I Candidates) through the bank favoring THE COMPTROLLER, UAS, BANGALORE, payable at UAS, BANGALORE. The last date for submission of application is 09-08-2019.
