Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is located in Kota in the state of Rajasthan. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan to enhance technical education across the state. The university is located on the bank of river Chambal and adjacent to Rawatbhata Road. It is about 16 km from Kota Railway Station and 10 km from Kota Bus Stand.
Rajasthan Technical University aims to provide quality technical education to help Rajasthan in its technical development and boost the technical environment in the country. The Rajasthan Technical University offers almost all the disciplines related to technical education including Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology
