Panjab University (PU) is a collegiate public state university located in Chandigarh, India. Funded through both State and Union governments, it is considered a state university. It traces its origins to the University of the Punjab in Lahore, which was founded in 1882. After the partition of India, the university was established on October 1, 1947, and called East Punjab University. Initially housed primarily at a cantonment in Solan, it later relocated to a newly built campus in Chandigarh, and was renamed Panjab University.
PU UGLAW is a written entrance exam conducted by Panjab University. The entrance exam is conducted for the selection of the candidates for admission in the 5 years integrated course of BA LLB and BCom LLB. The exam is held at Chandigarh, Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana. The duration of the OMR based exam is 1.5 hours and it contains questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Aptitude for Law, Mental Ability, and English Language.
