WBJEEB Joint Entrance For Lateral Entry (JELET) - Examination Pattern

Pattern of question papers::

A. At the time of online application, candidates will select his/her qualifying examination among:
i. Diploma in Engineering/Technology
ii. Diploma in Pharmacy
iii. B.Sc.

B. There will be two separate papers namely,
i. Paper-I for Diploma in Engineering/Technology OR B.Sc. candidates.
ii. Paper-II for Diploma in Pharmacy candidates.

C. Paper-I for Diploma in Engineering/Technology OR B.Sc. candidates will have the following structure.

✓ Mathematics
•Total Questions - 40
•Category 1 - 30 Questions ( Carries 1 Marks)
•Category 2 - 10 Questions ( Carries 2 Marks)
•Total Marks - 50

✓ Physics
•Total Questions - 30
•Category 1 - 25 Questions ( Carries 1 Marks)
•Category 2 - 5 Questions ( Carries 2 Marks)
•Total Marks - 35

✓Chemistry
•Total Questions - 20
•Category 1 - 15 Questions ( Carries 1 Marks)
•Category 2 - 5 Questions ( Carries 2 Marks)
•Total Marks - 25

✓ Fundamentals Of Electrical And Electronics Enginnering
•Total Questions - 10
•Category 1 - 10 Questions ( Carries 1 Marks)
•Total Marks - 10

=Combined Marks - 120
=Total Number Of Questions - 100

D. Paper-II for Diploma in Pharmacy candidates will have 100 questions of Category-1.

E. All questions will be of Multiple- Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options. Time for the paper is 2 hours. The questions will be in English language only.
