Rajasthan University LLB entrance test (ULET) - Admission Procedure , Syllabus & Sample Questions

Admission Procedure

(a) There are 300 seats + 10% Over and above to seats for EWS as per BCI norms in University Law College and 300 Seats + 10% Over and above to seats for EWS as per BCI norms in UniversityLaw College Centre-II.
Note: There shall be a single form to apply for the admission to LL.B. I year in both the colleges.

(b) Admission to LL.B. I year on the above seats shall be made on the basis of Merit of marks obtained at entrance examination i.e. ULET-2022.
Note: A candidate may apply either on the basis of UG or on the basis of PG marks whichever is higher.

(c) From the Merit, first 300 + 10% Over and above to seats for EWS as per BCI norms, candidates (category wise) shall be given admission to University Law College and next 300 + 10% Over and above to seats for EWS as per BCI norms, candidates (category wise) shall be given admission to University Law College Centre-II.
However, if a candidate of higher merit wants to take admission in University Law College Centre-II, may be considered in the merit of University Law College CentreII on written application made to the Convener, ULET-2022 at the time of counseling of admission for University Law College.

(d) In case where two or more candidates stand on same merit position, the preference shall be made to the candidate on the following criteria in descending order : -

  • Who has secured higher marks in qualifying examination without any weightage .
  • Where the merit of both the candidates are of equal PG marks, who has secured higher marks in UG;
  • Where the merit of a candidate is of UG marks and another’s of PG marks, who has secured higher marks in UG;
  • Where the merit of both the candidates are of equal UG marks, who has secured higher marks in XII standard; and
  • Where either of the above criteria unable to fix the preference, who is older than other.

(e) Reservation and weightage (NCC/NSS/Sports etc.) shall be given as per University Rules, subject to fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria.

Special Note : All the objection(s) related to Entrance Examination(ULET2022) shall be entertained up to August 17, 2022 till 2:30 p.m. No subsequent grievance(s) on any condition shall be admitted. Decision of ULET-2022 Committee on the grievance(s) shall be final.

Syllabus & Sample Questions
  • The test paper will consist of one question paper containing 150 objective type questions with multiple choice answers.
  • The syllabus of the Entrance Test includes: General Knowledge, Social Science, General Science, Indian Constitution and General English.
  • The sample question for the ULET-2022 will be available on the University website.
  • The language of the entrance will be Hindi & English.
Answer Key
  • The University shall publish the Answer Key pertaining to ULET-2022 on the University website as per the schedule.
  • Any objection with reference to Answer Key/Questions in the ULET-2022 may be submitted in writing to the Convener, ULET-2022, Department of Law, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur as per the schedule.
