Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test (RPVT) - Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:

Minimum: Candidate should be 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2022.

Maximum: Candidate should not be older than 25 years of age as on December 31, 2022. However, candidates who belong to the reserved categories can apply for RPVT 2022 till the age of 30.

Minimum Qualification:

Candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary/ Indian School Certificate/Examination/ Intermediate Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biochemistry and English from a recognised institute.

Candidate must have cleared the above subjects individually, both theory and practical.

Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination:

General category candidates need a minimum aggregate of 50% in their qualifying examination.

Candidates belonging to the reserved category need 47.5%.

Domicile:

Candidates must be an Indian national with Rajasthan Domicile. Those who do not have the domicile of Rajasthan cannot apply for RPVT 2022.

Physical Disability:

As per the Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education-Degree Course (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) Regulations-2016, candidates with the following disabilities cannot apply for RPVT 2022

1. Disability of whole body including disability of chest/spine more than 50 percent
2. Disability of lower limb of more than 50 percent
3. Disability of upper limb
4. Visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability
5. Candidates with progressive diseases like Myopathies, etc.
6. Disability which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a Veterinarian
