✓ Eligibility Criteria For B.Des
1.The applicant must have cleared senior secondary exam from a recognized board of education in India. The minimum marks requirements for the applicants is 50 percent to get admission in JKL University. However, for reserved category applicants the minimum percentage requirement is 45 percent marks as per the eligibility criteria.
2. After clearing the 10+2 level exam, applicants have to clear the entrance exam named as JKLU Design Entrance Test (DET) conducted by the University every year, or any national level entrance exam as NID DAT, or UCEED.
3. After clearing the entrance exam the shortlisted applicants will be able to fill the application form for B.Des. program. The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for the counselling and interview process. At the time of counselling and interview, candidates will have to carry their portfolio and relevant documents for verification. Interview and the entrance exams scores will have a weightage of 50% each, so, the personal interview round is equally important.
