1. PG-CET is mandatory for PG admissions.
2. Each in-service and/or fresh candidate has to fulfill minimum admission requirement.
3. The admission of PG seats will be made only on the basis of PG-CET merit list through online counseling. A common merit list of all faculties PG programme will be prepared.
4. In case of a tie in PG-CET marks between two candidates, the criteria adopted for determining the merit rank of the candidate will be OGPA/marks of most immediate degree programme. In case of further tie merit shall be decided by marks/OGPA in next immediate programme up to 12th class. In case of further tie, merit shall be decided on the basis of age. The elder will be given higher rank. In case of further tie, the decision of university shall be final.
5. The PG-CET will be based upon CET syllabus for admission in PG programme of the Vishwavidyalaya. It will be available on website https://igkv.ac.in
6. There will be 200 multiple choice objective typo questions of 200 marks with no negative marking. There will be separate question papers for Forestry & Agriculture under faculty of Agriculture as well as for faculty of Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering. There will be no re-checking and re-totaling of PG-CET answer books. The OMR Sheet of PG-CET will be scanned and evaluated by the system for preparing merit list.
7. The timings of PG-CET-2022 will be from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
8. There shall be 33% cut off marks for qualifying PG CET for both regular and in-service candidates. In case of SC and ST, 5% relaxation in cutoff marks will be provided. If seats remain vacant, the cutoff marks shall be reduced accordingly till the seats are filled as per the merit.
9. The minimum age limit for admission to PG programme is 20 years on 31 August of the admission year.
10.Minimum duration for all PG programmes is 02 years.
11. The Chhattisgarh domicile certificate will be compulsory for PG admissions. IGKV graduates will be exempted from this compulsion for Master's degree programme. 12.The seats for IGKV in-service candidates will be governed by the study leave regulation.
13. The Director Instructions (DI), IGKV, Raipur shall be the chairman of the admission committee for all the Master's degree programmes of the Vishwavidyalaya. The admission committee will be constituted by DI after an approval of Vice Chancellor.
14.In all matters regarding admission to the PG programme, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final. The Vishwavidyalaya reserves the right to cancel the admission at any time when it is found that the admission was granted wrongly by oversight, mistake, omission, error, non-eligibility of the candidate. The decision of the Vishwavidyalaya will be final.
15.The candidate must have acquired minimum admission requirement by 22nd July 2022.
16.Online counseling will be followed as per the schedule available on website (https://igkv.ac.in). Only online counseling procedure shall be followed for admission.
17.Candidates are requested to visit regularly the IGKV website for all the details related to PG-CET examination, counseling and verification for the allotment of PG seats.
18. The Mobile App "e-krishi Pathshala" may be downloaded from google play store to get the regular updates & status of Admission.
19. Admission rules & regulations and procedure of admission shall be available before counseling on website https://igkv.ac.in and will be final for admission.
20.In case of any unfair means (UFM), the candidates will be automatically disqualified for admission.
21.For MBA (ABM) admission, combined merit list of Agriculture/Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering faculty will be considered. The candidates who wish to take admission in MBA under Industry sponsorship quota (4 seats), need to produce/submit sponsorship certificate from the sponsorer (semester fee, hostel expenditure, training fee if any, etc) at the time of verification of the documents. The proforma for this will be available in the website https://igkv.ac.in
22.Candidates who have appeared in the final year examination of UG programme and expected to complete their degree before 22nd July 2022 may also apply for CET examination.
23.In case, on line payment of fees is not done at a time due to internet failure/technical problem then, the amount will automatically be bounced back to that particular account from which payment was made within 5 working days.
