Entrance Examination Procedure:
Indian Students

Student will be admitted to the university on the basis of an entrance test, which will be conducted in two stages.

For Master’s Degree and Post Graduate Diploma Courses:
Stage - 1: This stage contains Five sections based on objective questions
Time Duration - 1.5 hours

Section -1: General Knowledge and Learning

Section -2: Logical Reasoning and General Aptitude

Section -3: Mission (Gayatri Parivar, Shantikunj, Dev Sanskriti University, historical and cultural sites etc.)

Section -4: Basic Understanding of English language

Section -5: Subject Knowledge (applied for)

Stage - 2: Interview of the selected candidate from Stage - 1
For Graduate Course:
Stage - 1: This stage contains three sections based on objective questions
Time Duration: 1.5 hours

Section -1: General Knowledge and Learning

Section -2: Logical Reasoning and General Aptitude

Section -3: Mission (Gayatri Parivar, Shantikunj, Dev Sanskriti University, Sufi saint, Historical and Cultural sites etc.)

Stage - 2: Interview of the selected candidates from Stage - 1

Interested applicants can fill the Application Form Online at http://www.dsw.ac.in/iro

Documents to be uploaded with the Online Application Form:
  • Certified copy (English translated) of the marks/ grade sheet of the qualifying examination
  • Statement of Purpose (500 words)
  • Proof of NRI/OCI/PIO status
  • Certified copy of the grade equivalent to marks by Board s/Schools
  • Scanned Copy of the Passport
  • Passport size photographs (recent)
  • Letter of recommendation from 2 referees
  • English Language Proficiency Certificate
Process after Application Form is Received:
  • When complete application form is received, it is then processed and the candidate will be sent a letter of acknowledgement with an application number. Students will also be intimated if any additional information is required to ensure their eligibility for the applied course program. Some applicants may be asked to appear for an in-person (if in India) or online interview in front of Pro Vice Chancellor or a nominated member by him before the admission is offered to the candidate.
  • Once the eligibility is ensured, the admission pack with all the necessary information will be sent to the candidate. After receiving the admission pack, student shall proceed to the Indian Embassy in their native country to obtain the student VISA. Once the student visa is obtained, they shall im m ediately contact on international@dsw.ac.in to notify the authorities with their date, time and mode of arrival to the University.
  • Students are advised to reach the University Campus 1-2 days prior to the commencement of classes and report to the Office of Pro Vice Chancellor. They would then be asked to submit their official or original documents as listed in the admission letter. They shall also need to take a test of English proficiency and submit a proof of medical fitness. Thereafter candidates will be issued an 'Admission Order1. Only after the admission formalities are completed students will be permitted to move into the allotted hostels.
  • It is mandatory that all foreign students holding foreign citizenship have to register with the Foreigner's Registration Office (FRO) within the stipulated time frame of their arrival in India. A student who is a PIO/OCI Card holder is also required to register with the FRO. Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya will provide the necessary assistance in this regard.
