Academy of Maritime Education and Training common entrance test (AMET CET) - Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for UG:
  • Age: 17 to 25 years.
  • Academic Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) with at least 60% marks in PCM and 50% in English.
  • Medical Fitness: Must meet the standards specified by the Directorate General of Shipping, India.
Eligibility Criteria for PG:
  • Age: No specific age limit.
  • Academic Qualification: Relevant Bachelor's degree with at least 50-60% marks, depending on the course.
  • Medical Fitness: Must meet the required medical standards.
Eligibility Criteria for Diploma Courses:
  • Age: Up to 25 years.
  • Academic Qualification: 10+2 with PCM, at least 60% marks in PCM, and 50% in English.
  • Medical Fitness: Must meet the required medical standards.
