Common University Entrance Test For PostGraduates (CUET-PG)- Eligibility, Schedule of Examination and Fees

Age Limit:
  • For appearing in the CUET (PG) 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates
  • The candidates who have passed the bachelor degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2023 examination
  • However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria of the University in which they are desirous of taking admission.
Note:
  • For admission to Universities through CUET (PG)-2023, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.
  • As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
  • Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
  • Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing passing marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfills the Programme-wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.
Schedule of Examination:
Timing of Examination:
  • Slot-1: 10.00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon (IST)
  • Slot-2: 03.00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. (IST)
Duration of Examination:
  • For 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
Candidates Log in to Read Instructions:
  • Slot-1: 09.50 a.m.
  • Slot-2: 02.50 p.m.
Test Commences:
  • Slot-1: 10.00 a.m
  • Slot-2: 03.00 p.m.
Test Concludes:
  • Slot-1: 12 Noon
  • Slot-2: 05:00 p.m.
Note:
  • Compensatory time for PwBD Candidates of 20 minutes for a one-hour examination.

In India Application Fee (for up to Three Test Papers)

  • OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS ₹ 800
  • SC/ ST/ Third Gender ₹ 750
  • PwBD ₹ 700
In India Fees for additional Test Papers (Per Test Paper)
  • General ₹ 500
  • OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS ₹ 400
  • SC/ ST/ Third Gender ₹ 400
  • PwBD ₹ 400
Outside India:
  • Application Fee (for up to three Test Papers) ₹ 5000
  • Fees for additional Test Papers (Per Test Papers) ₹ 1500
Note:
  • An applicant can make payment through net-banking/debit/credit card/UPI/Wallet.
  • GST and other taxes as applicable by Govt. of India/ Bank to be paid by the candidate.
  • Applicants are advised to read Payment instructions carefully before paying the application fee.
