Academy of Maritime Education and Training common entrance test (AMET CET)-Eligibility for Under Graduate Level programmes

B.Sc Nautical Science:
  • Pass in 12 th Standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%. (b) The candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks in English language in 10th or 12th standard exam.
  • Note: The candidate must have passed the 10th and 12th standard from a recognized board.
  • Qualifying in IMU CET is mandatory for admission.
B.E Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering:
  • A pass in plus-two (12th standard) or its equivalent, with minimum 50% Marks for OC and 45% for others aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry Group from any recognized Board.
B.E Petroleum Engineering:
  • A pass in plus-two (12th standard) or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% Marks for OC and 45% for others aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry Group from any recognized Board.
B.Tech. Food Processing Technology:
  • Should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
B.E. Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security):
  • Candidates aspiring for the BE-CSE course need to qualify through their +2 exams from a recognised educational institute. Also, having science stream in 12th standards is mandatory with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
B.E. Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning):
  • 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) with Mathematics mandatory or Computer Science with Mathematics. (Minimum Aggregate of 50%).
B.Sc. Data Science:
  • 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) with Mathematics mandatory or Computer Science with Mathematics. (Minimum Aggregate of 50%)
B.Sc. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence:
  • Pass in Plus 2 (12th Standard) or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
B.Sc. Computer Science & Business System:
  • 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) Minimum Aggregate of 50%
B.Com Logistics & Computer Applications:
  • Pass in Higher Secondary with 50% marks.
B.E. Mechanical Engineering:
  • APass in Plus-two (12 Standard) or its equivalent, with minimum 50% marks for OC and 45% for others aggregate in Maths, Physics and the Chemistry group from any recognized board. Minimum 50% marks in English either in +2 or 10, Boys and Girls are eligible to apply.
  • APass in DME / DAE / DPE / DNAOE / B.Sc. (Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry) with a minimum of 50% marks. Both Boys and Girls are eligible to apply.
B.E. Marine Engineering:
  • Pass in (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% and 50% in English.
